Wave

A single brushstroke, laid in one pass, running the width of a wall.

There is no second attempt with a stroke this size. The paint is mixed, the scaffold is set, and the whole gesture happens in a few seconds. What is on the wall is the first and only one.

A painted disc sits across it in deep blue โ€” the one piece of flat colour in a room that is otherwise all gesture.
